In the meeting chaired by the Minister of Agriculture, the performance report of Sindh Seed Corporation was presented

The reform efforts of the Sindh government are beginning to yield positive results, with Sindh Seed Corporation reporting a significant revenue increase of 30.567 million rupees over a ten-month period.

In the meeting of the sub-committee of the Sindh cabinet held today, chaired by the Minister of Agriculture Sardar Muhammad Bakhsh Mahar, provincial ministers Jam Khan Shoro and Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah, farmer leaders, and other officials participated. The meeting reviewed the corporation’s performance report covering the period from October 2025 to July 2026.

The Managing Director of Seed Corporation highlighted an increase in revenue from 65.732 million rupees to 96.299 million rupees. Additionally, the report mentioned the expansion of agricultural activities, with cotton cultivation increasing to 207 acres and sugarcane to 71 acres.

Minister Mahar emphasized the importance of maintaining transparency, accountability, and merit in these reforms. He announced that the performance report would be presented in the upcoming meeting of the Sindh cabinet.

Provincial ministers and farmer leader Mahmood Nawaz Shah expressed satisfaction with the achievements of the Seed Corporation, commenting on the improved performance compared to previous years.
