The local gold market witnessed another increase in gold prices today, resulting in a per tola price increase of 100 rupees, reaching 455,236 rupees, indicating a continuous trend of rising rates. According to the report of the All Pakistan Sarafa Jewelers Association, the price of 10 grams of gold also saw an increase, rising by 85 rupees to 389,685 rupees.
On the international front, gold prices also saw a slight increase, resulting in the per ounce price rising by one dollar to 4,328 dollars. This change reflects the broader market dynamics amidst ongoing fluctuations.
In contrast, silver prices took a different path, recording a decrease. The price of per tola silver decreased by 6 rupees to 7,503 rupees, while the price of 10 grams of silver decreased by 5 rupees to 6,391 rupees. Globally, silver is being sold at 70.24 dollars per ounce.
Experts attribute these changes to the ongoing uncertainty in global financial markets and shifts in the demand for precious metals. These factors continue to affect the pricing scenario, causing local and international stakeholders to face a complex economic environment.
