India troops committing massive HR violations in IOK: APHC-AJK

Islamabad, July 01, 2019 (PPI-OT): The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter held an extra-ordinary meeting in Islamabad with its Convener, Syed Abdullah Gilani, in chair today. The participants of the meeting expressing concern over the prevailing situation in occupied Kashmir said that the India troops were committing the massive human rights violations and were killing innocent Kashmiris on daily basis.

They said that the occupation forces in the territory were using all tactics to harass and victimize the people of Kashmir, adding that Kashmiris would continue their legitimate struggle for securing their right to self-determination till complete success.

The meeting urged the international community to take strong note of the troops’ brutalities on the innocent people of Kashmir and take solid and sincere steps for implementation of UN resolutions on Kashmir. They said the resolution of Kashmir dispute in accordance with the Kashmiris aspirations is imperative for bringing permanent peace in the region.

The participants of the meeting also denounced the Indian government for time and again rejecting the talks offer by the Pakistani government for addressing all the issues including the core issue of Kashmir. They also expressed grief and sorrow over the tragic accidents in Kishtwar and Ramban, today, expressed sympathies with the bereaved families. At the end of the meeting, the participants offered prayers for departed souls of the Kashmiris martyrs.

Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, Mehmood Ahmad Saghar, Abdul Majeed Mir, Muhammad Husain Khateeb, Abdul Majeed Malik, Sheikh Muhammad Yaqoob, Adeel Mushtaq Wani, Ishtiaq Hameed, Abdul Hameed Lone, Nisar Mirza, Raja Khadim Hussain, Haji Sultan Butt, Javed Iqbal Butt, Sheikh Abdul Mateen, Nazir Ahmad Karnai, Syed Kifayat Hussain Rizvi and Imtiaz Ahmad Wani attended the meeting.
