Islamabad police have intensified security measures in the Red Zone and Diplomatic Enclave following directives from SSP Security Captain (R) Syed Zeeshan Haider.
The enhanced safeguards include reinforced checking at entry and exit points, utilizing cutting-edge technology for improved scrutiny. The Islamabad police representative stated that protecting residents, along with domestic and international properties, is paramount.
Body-worn cameras and Safe City surveillance systems are being employed to bolster monitoring and ensure transparency. Officers are overseeing operations on the ground. Captain (R) Haider stressed that no laxity in security protocols will be accepted.
Embassies, UN facilities, and other vital locations are under heightened vigilance. Every individual and vehicle entering or leaving the area is subject to close observation via Safe City cameras.
The SSP Security requested public cooperation with law enforcement during checks and urged citizens to promptly report any suspicious behavior or individuals to the Pukar-15 helpline. Captain (R) Haider reaffirmed that safeguarding diplomats, residents, and critical infrastructure is the top priority for Islamabad Police.
