ISLAMABAD:Pakistan Army training aircraft Mushaq on routine training mission crashed near Gujarat on Monday.
According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), both pilots Major Umer, Instructor Pilot, resident of Gujarat, and Lieutenant Faizan, Student Pilot, resident of Kalar Kahar, Chakwal embraced Shahadat. Major Umer survived by wife.
Meanwhile, President Dr Arif Alvi has expressed grief and sorrow over the sad demise of two pilots of Pakistan Army when their training aircraft crashed on Monday. In a statement, he commiserated with the bereaved families and prayed higher status for martyred Major Umar and Lieutenant Faizan in heaven.
