Karachi Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab initiated the construction of a flyover on Khalid Bin Waleed Road to alleviate traffic congestion.
During his visit to Korangi, the Mayor laid the foundation stone of the overpass, which will be built over the railway line. The bridge will connect the N-5 National Highway to Mehran Highway and is expected to be completed within a year.
The project also includes a one-meter wide drainage system for rainwater management. Mayor Wahab reiterated his commitment to improving traffic flow and transportation for citizens.
He emphasized that modernizing the city’s infrastructure is a key objective, and this endeavor marks progress towards transforming Karachi into a modern urban center. He assured that citizens would soon experience the positive impacts of these infrastructure improvements.
