Karachi Water Supply Disrupted Due to Breakdown at Dhabeji Pumping Station

A major power breakdown at the Dhabeji Pumping Station has caused water shortages in several areas of the city. Power supply to Dhabeji’s K-2 pump house has been restored, however, the pump house is still partially shut down. This prolonged shutdown has resulted in a shortfall of 171 million gallons. Several areas, including Nazimabad, New Karachi, Landhi, and Korangi, are severely affected by the water shortage.
