Srinagar, July 27, 2018 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Hurriyat forum, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, has said that the Kashmiris will resist any machinations over the Article 35-A that grants special status to Jammu and Kashmir in Indian constitution. Indian Supreme Court will hear a petition seeking abrogation of Article 35-A on 6 August.
Mirwaiz Umar Farooq addressing a gathering at Jamia Masjid in Srinagar, today, said that the Kashmiris would hit the streets and resist it forcefully. “The resulting consequences will entirely be the responsibility of those who will force people to take drastic steps,” he added.
