A group of under-training judicial officers, including judges from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, met with senior police officials at the Central Police Office on Wednesday to take a comprehensive review of the Punjab Police’s technological advancements and its people-centric welfare programs for crime prevention.
The delegation, comprising Additional District and Session Judges, was on an inland study tour organized by the National Institute of Public Administration. The judicial officers were welcomed by IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar.
AIG Operations Zahid Nawaz Marwat and Additional IG Operations Muhammad Ali Nekokara gave a detailed briefing. They provided in-depth information about the force’s modern infrastructure, technology-based policing strategies, and various projects established for the effective delivery of services to the public.
Special emphasis was placed on initiatives designed to assist and protect vulnerable sections. The work of Protection Centers, Service Centers, Meesaq Centers, and Foster Homes was presented as key components of the strategy for curbing criminal activities and providing modern support facilities to citizens.
The visit also included a tour of the Punjab Police Museum and other key sections of the CPO.
The study tour concluded with the exchange of commemorative shields between the judicial delegation and the Punjab Police leadership.
