Killing of people by troops has become a routine matter in IOK

Srinagar, May 31, 2018 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, APHC leader and the Chairman of Tehreek-e-Muzahamat, Bilal Ahmed Siddiqi, has said that killing of innocent Kashmiris in cold blood has become hallmark of the Indian troops and a routine affair to terrify people in the territory.

Bilal Siddiqi said this while addressing mourners in Narwah area of Pulwama where he had gone along with a party delegation to express solidarity with the bereaved family of a civilian, Bilal Ahmed Ganai. A driver by profession, Bilal Ahmed Ganai was shot dead by the troops recently.

Bilal Siddiqi said, “The irony is that they (troops) are being rewarded and appreciated for these killings and honoured as well by their political bosses in New Delhi.” He termed the killing of Bilal Ganai as a highly cowardly act by the troops. He said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs had centre-staged the Kashmir dispute at the global level and the day was not far away when the people of Kashmir would get freedom from the Indian bondage.

He also condemned the vandalism and hooliganism unleashed in Shopian and desecration of the grave of a martyred freedom-fighter, Sameer Ahmed Butt, by the Indian troops terming the actions as reflection of frustration and moral bankruptcy of the Indian forces.
