Kuwait has extended its oil credit facility to Pakistan for an additional two years, a significant development conveyed by Kuwait’s Ambassador to Pakistan during a meeting with Minister for Petroleum, Ali Pervaiz Malik, in Islamabad.

Kuwait Petroleum has provided this facility to Pakistan State Oil (PSO), marking a continuation of support in the energy sector. The Petroleum Minister expressed gratitude, acknowledging the role of brotherly countries like Kuwait in facilitating the structural reforms initiated under Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s leadership.

Both sides agreed to enhance bilateral cooperation in the energy sector, with Ali Pervaiz Malik emphasizing Pakistan’s commitment to fostering stronger ties with Gulf nations, especially in energy and trade.
