CHAMAN:Levies Force, Chaman claimed to have seized 1000 rounds of SMG gun in an operation conducted in Guldar Baghecha area of Chaman on Wednesday.
Talking to media, Juma Dad Mandokhail, Deputy Commissioner, Chaman said that levies force, Chaman intercepted a suspicious vehicle at Guldar Balghecha, but instead of halting, alleged accused resorted to indiscriminate firing and tried to accelerate the vehicle, however, the alleged accused managed to flee, leaving the vehicle behind after levies force retaliated. Upon searching the vehicle, 1000 rounds of SMG gun were recovered from the vehicle, he said.
Announcing appreciation certificates in favour of the staff who took part in the operation, Mandokhail said that recommendations would also be forwarded to Home and Tribal Affairs Department, Government of Balochistan to get the honorary promotion to the staff of levies force, Chaman granted. He said owing to the strenuous efforts of levies force, law and order situation in district Chaman of Balochistan province had been improved.
