KARACHI:The students of Karachi Medical and Dental College (KMDC) on Saturday staged a protest against Karachi University and KMDC administration outside Karachi Press Club for not conducting their examinations on time.
The protesters, carrying placards and banners, raised slogans like justice for KMDC, conduct exam on time, we come here to be doctors not patients, no more delay in exam and others.
Around 150 male and female students participated in the protest. The protesters tried to enter Red Zone area to record their protest, but the law enforcement agencies foiled their plan.
The protesters chanted slogans against KU and KMDC administration, alleging them that examination of medical students had been delayed due to their incompetency. They said KMDC negligence had ruined one year of medical students.
They demanded of the KU and KMDC managements to hold exams of medical students through online or physically under standard operating procedure (SOPs) to save precious time of students.
