Ministers hold talks with Chaman traders

Quetta: On the directives of Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan, Provincial Ministers Mir Zia Ullah Langove, Haji Noor Muhammad Dumar, MPAs Asghar Khan Achakzai and Mubeen Khan Khilji held parleys with tribal elders, representatives of Balochistan Chamber of Commerce and Business community in Chaman on Sunday to find solution to the situation caused owing to closure of Pak-Afghan border.

Speaking on the occasion, Mir Zia Ullah Langove said threat posed by novel coronavirus was one of the major causes that prompted the government to close Pak-Afghan border, adding that possibility of terrorist acts remained present owing to illegal ingress and egress along Pak-Afghan border.

“Permanent solution to the issue will further boost economic activities thereby providing job opportunities to the residents of Chaman and its adjoining areas”, said Mir Zia Ullah Langove. He added, “It is our job to address the problems of people on priority basis”.

The purpose of visit of the committee is to seek suggestions which will be submitted to the Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan for his consideration, said Haji Noor Muhammad Khan Dumar, Provincial Minister for Public Health Engineering Department.
