Senior Vice President of MQM Balochistan, Shams Mengal, and MQM Balochistan Youth Wing leader Irfanullah on Sunday condemned the murder of young Christian athletes in Mastung, describing it as a “shameful act.”
In a joint statement, the provincial leaders of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement said that Islam and the country’s traditions guaranteed the rights of minorities.
They said the Balochistan government had failed to protect minority communities, adding that the incidents of terrorism across the province were clear evidence of governance failure. They called for concrete measures to prevent murder, bloodshed, and terrorism in the province.
