Pakistan’s Minister for Kashmir affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan, Engineer Amir Muqam, has described India”s Republic Day as a “Black Day” for Kashmir”s populace, contending that New Delhi is promoting a deceptive democratic image while committing human rights abuses.
In a released statement today, the minister asserted that the Indian government is projecting a façade of democracy to conceal the perpetuation of rights violations within the territory.
Muqam reiterated Islamabad”s firm commitment to the Kashmiri people”s right to self-determination.
He further called upon the global community to take notice of what he termed as ongoing Indian atrocities in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
