National – Top Leadership Urges Scouts to Assist Govt in Tackling National Crises

Pakistan’s senior leadership today called upon the nation’s Scouts to leverage their skills in aiding the government’s response to natural calamities, unforeseen emergencies, and other significant national challenges.

The appeal came from President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in separate messages marking World Scout Day 2026.

In his message as the country”s Chief Scout, President Zardari articulated a vision for the scouting movement to help forge a greener, climate-resilient, drug-free, and digitally empowered Pakistan.

He extended his warmest congratulations to the more than half a million scouts and leaders associated with the Pakistan Boy Scouts Association.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in his statement, remarked that the day underscores the positive and constructive societal role of young people when they apply their mental, physical, and individual abilities.

The Prime Minister lauded the commendable efforts of the 750,000 members of the Pakistan Boy Scouts Association for their work in promoting these valuable objectives.
