The death of an alleged robber in a police encounter near Korangi’s KDA Housing Society today has raised concerns over increasing criminal activities in the area.
The incident occurred when law enforcement personnel confronted a group of suspected criminals, resulting in an exchange of fire. During the exchange of gunfire, one suspect was critically injured. The deceased, whose identity remains unknown, is described as a 28-year-old male with an unknown father’s name.
Edhi Ambulance Service emergency responders immediately transported the injured person to Jinnah Hospital. Despite medical efforts, the person succumbed to his injuries.
Police have initiated investigations to learn more details of the incident and to identify the deceased.
