National Electric Power Regulatory Authority has imposed a fine of five million rupees on K-Electric due to failure in provision of reliable power supply to consumers of Karachi.
According to NEPRA, the decision was taken after report of a committee that visited the generation, transmission and distribution facilities of K-Electric in June last year and found irregularities.
