LAHORE: The process of submitting nomination papers for Balochistan’s local body elections has been completed, according to a report on Sunday.
A total of 25,741 nomination papers were submitted for local body elections. As per Election Commission, the process of scrutiny of candidates’ nomination papers continues, adding that Nominations will be scrutinized by April 25.
According to Election Commission, the revised lists of candidates will be posted on May 7, adding that candidates will be able to withdraw by May 9. As per Election Commission, election symbols will be given on May 10, adding that polling will be held in all 32 districts of Balochistan on May 29, except Lasbela and Quetta.
