One suspected robber was gunned down and five others arrested during four separate encounters in Karachi, according to police reports here on Friday.

An encounter at Paracha Graveyard in Qasba Colony, Orangi Town, led to the death of Rano Khan Somroo. Law enforcement recovered a pistol and a car from the scene. The deceased was transported to a medical facility, with further investigations proceeding.

At Saddiqabad in Lyari Nadi, police engaged a motorcycle-lifting gang, resulting in the capture of Fazal Hussain, Shoukat, and Mulazim Hussain. Three pistols and two stolen bikes were seized. One suspect managed a getaway, while the injured were sent to a hospital as investigations continue.

In another clash at Dhani Parto Goth Razzakabad, authorities detained Muhammad Usama, although his accomplice escaped. A pistol and stolen mobile phones were retrieved. The injured suspect was hospitalized, with further inquiries ongoing.

Lastly, at Rehman Abad near Lundi Kotal Chowrangi, Sheraz was captured after a shootout, while his associate fled. Police recovered a pistol, a mobile phone, and a bike. The injured were sent to the hospital, and investigations are in progress.
