ISLAMABAD:A session of the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) held here on Friday took a detailed review of current coronavirus disease situation in the country.
According to a press release, the forum agreed on implementation of various essential protocols for masajid/ worship places. The NCOC in a statement said that only fully vaccinated individuals are allowed for prayer in masajid/ worship places.
It declared the mask wearing mandatory mask wearing. Removal of carpet etc. from the masajid/worship places has been recommended. The forum held that maintaining 6 feet social distancing is compulsory. It asked the elderly and co-morbid to preferably offer prayers at home.
The NCOC directed the frequent hand sanitization. Minimal attendance for the prayers has also been suggested. The forum said ablution should preferably be performed at home. It asked for opening of doors/ windows for ventilation; preferably organizing prayers in open. The NCOC asked for short sermon for Jumma prayer.
