Open court held in Kohlu

KOHLU:Mumtaz Khetran, Deputy Commissioner, Kohlu has said that district administration strives to provide relief to the people at their threshold.

“Cooperation of consumers is indispensable in order to control electricity crisis,” he said while addressing an open court here on Wednesday at the office of Deputy Commissioner, Kohlu to pay heed to the electricity related and other problems being faced by the people.

Speaking on the occasion, Executive Engineer, QESCO, Mir Bangul Khan Marri said that over load of electricity caused tripping. He said residents, traders and agriculturist did not deposit monthly bills which compelled QESCO to disconnect power supply.

He appealed to the consumers to deposit their bills on time and avoid using unnecessary lights and electronic geysers. Mumtaz Khetran, Deputy Commissioner, Kohlu said that district administration strived to facilitate people at their threshold.

He added in order to control electricity crisis, cooperation of consumers was indispensable. He said district administration was going to form community teams with the task to ensure depositing utility bills of their respective areas. He added steps were being taken to restore 3G Internet services so that students might not face hardships while taking online classes.
