Opposition announces protest movement against Balochistan govt

QUETTA:Opposition parties on Saturday announced starting protest movement against the Balochistan government.

This announcement was made by MNA Moulana Abdul Wasey, Provincial Ameer, JUI (F) while addressing a press conference at provincial secretariat of JUI (F) with other leaders of opposition parties here on Saturday.

Moulana Abdul Wasey said that Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan was not the representative of Balochistan rather he was rendering services for someone else. He added that parties included in Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) had unanimously decided to remove an employee who had occupied the seat of the leader of the house.

He said that the present incompetent provincial government was fanning tribal hatred in the province while the followers of Khan Abdul Ghafar Khan and Khan Abdul Wali Khan were advocating illegal and unconstitutional government. He said that budget of Balochistan’s government was unconstitutional which had been prepared merely to favour some persons. He said that government was going to set up army base in Notal which would be utilized for the American forces. Condemning the setting up of army base in Notal, he said that it would turn Balochistan into battle field.

He added that opposition members of Balochistan Provincial Assembly were not demanding development schemes for their personal benefits rather our purpose was to protect the rights of the people of Balochistan. He remarked that after June 25, shutter down, to be observed across the province, would be announced. He said that no-confidence-motion would be tabled against Chief Minister Balochistan after consulting leaders of different opposition parties of PDM including Nawab Muhammad Aslam Khan Raisani.

On the occasion, erstwhile Chief Minister Balochistan and Chief of Sarawan, Nawab Muhammad Aslam Khan Raisani, Provincial President, National Party, Abdul Khaliq Baloch, Provincial Ameer, Jamiat Ehlehadees, Moulana Asmatullah Salim, MNA Mir Abdul Rauf Mengal, MPAs Malik Naseer Shahwani, Muhammad Akbar Mengal, Younas Aziz Zehri, Zahid Reki, Sana Baloch, Abdul Wahid Siddique, Haji Nawaz Kakar, Engineer Asghar Tareen, Hamal Kalmati, Azizullah Agha, Nasrullah Zairay and others were also present.
