QUETTA: Programming Section of Planning and Development Department, Government of Balochistan, has directed all Chief of Sections of the department to follow authorization policy in letter and spirit for approved ongoing schemes of PSDP-2022-2023 and furnish copies of authorization letters to Programming Section of Planning and Development Department for updating the authorization position.

Programming section in a letter addressed to all Chief of Sections of Planning and Development Department, dated July 21, 2022, copy available with PPI, states, “PSDP 2022-23 has been approved by Provincial Cabinet and Assembly. The P and D Department is to authorize funds for the schemes reflected in PSDP-2022-23.

The authorization policy for the first quarter is as under: (1) Schemes with allocation upto Rs. 20.00 million and below be hundred percent authorized. (2) Schemes with allocation of above Rs. 20.00 million or less than or equal to Rs. 100.00 million, only forty percent of the allocation be authorized. (3) Schemes with allocation greater than Rs. 100.00 million but less than or equal to Rs. 200.00 million, only thirty percent of the allocation be authorized. (4) Schemes with allocation greater than Rs. 200.00, only twenty five percent of the allocation be authorized.”

All Chief of Sections of Planning and Development Department have been directed to follow authorization policy in letter and spirit for approved ongoing schemes of PSDP-2022-2023 and furnish copies of authorization letters to Programming Section of Planning and Development Department for updating the authorization position.
