Pakistan and Turkiye today resolved to significantly elevate their trade volume, setting a new target of five billion dollars in the forthcoming years.
The decision was formalized during a high-level meeting between Pakistan’s Minister for Communications, Abdul Aleem Khan, and Trkiye’s Minister of Trade, Professor Dr. Ömer Bolat.
The discussion took place in Istanbul on the sidelines of the 5th ECO Ministerial Meeting on Commerce and Foreign Trade. During the engagement, Minister Khan highlighted the enduring and fraternal relationship shared by the two countries. He conveyed contentment with the continuous growth in multifaceted cooperation between the two nations.
The minister also reaffirmed Pakistan”s robust commitment to broadening its economic, commercial, and investment connections with Trkiye.
Both officials deliberated on various issues of mutual interest, concluding with a mutual accord to work in close partnership across all sectors to further reinforce their bilateral ties.
