Pakistan, China Outperform India at Global SWAT Competition

India faced consecutive setbacks at the UAE SWAT Challenge 2026, being bested in separate events by tactical units from Pakistan and China during the prestigious international police competition.

In a direct contest, the Sindh Police Special Security Unit from Pakistan secured a victory over India’s National Security Team. The engagement took place during the highly demanding hostage rescue event, according to a statement on Wednesday.

Concurrently, China”s women”s team delivered a commanding performance against their Indian counterparts. Reports indicate the Chinese unit demonstrated superior speed, coordination, and shooting accuracy throughout their event.

The global contest, which was organised by the Dubai Police, attracted a significant international field. A total of one hundred and eighteen elite Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) teams representing fifty-two different nations participated in the challenge.
