Pakistan is actively seeking substantial investment from one of Trkiye’s largest conglomerates to modernize its national infrastructure, with Communications Minister Abdul Aleem Khan formally inviting Iç Holding to participate in major development projects. The move signals a significant push to attract foreign capital for the country’s transport and communication networks.
During a high-level meeting on Saturday, Minister Khan engaged with a delegation from Iç Holding led by Serhat Sogukpinar, the CEO of the company’s Transportation and Infrastructure Group. The discussions centered on potential avenues for collaboration in Pakistan’s expanding infrastructure sector.
The minister briefed the Turkish executives on Pakistan’s commitment to upgrading its public works, emphasizing the government’s investor-friendly policies. He conveyed a strong desire to forge enduring partnerships with globally recognized firms to help accelerate development and stimulate economic growth.
In response, the Iç Holding delegation expressed keen interest in prospective ventures within Pakistan. Both parties concluded the meeting by agreeing to maintain close communication and explore concrete opportunities for future cooperation.
