Pakistan felicitated ahead of Independence Day

Srinagar, August 13, 2018 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organizations have felicitated people of Pakistan on the eve of the country’s Independence Day. The illegally detained Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party, Shabbir Ahmad Shah in a statement from Delhi’s notorious Tihar Jail said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir loved Pakistan more than their lives. He said that the country had been politically, diplomatically and morally supporting the Kashmiris’ struggle for right to self-determination.

Tehreek-e-Muzahamat Chairman Bilal Ahmed Siddiqui in a statement issued in Srinagar prayed for safety of Pakistan from all internal and external conspiracies. Terming Pakistan as an ideological state he said that the country had a leadership role in Muslim Ummah and stood as a strong base for the Muslims in South Asia. He thanked Pakistan over its support to the right to self-determination of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He expressed the hope that new government in Pakistan would form a comprehensive policy on Jammu and Kashmir.

Islami Tanzeem Azadi Chairman Abdul Samad Inqiliabi in his statement said that Pakistan was a holy land for the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He said that Kashmir dispute was created by India itself and the country had been illegally occupying the territory for the past 70 years.

Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement Chairman Zafar Akbar Butt, Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League Chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza and Peoples Political Front Chairman Muhammad Musaddiq Aadil in their statements also greeted Pakistanis on the Independence Day.

Meanwhile, Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir People’s Freedom League Muhammad Farooq Rehmani in his message prayed to Allah for the solidarity and integrity and prosperity of Pakistan. He paid rich tributes to millions of Muslim men, women and children who sacrificed their lives for a free and sovereign homeland. He was all praise for visionary leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and ideological insight of Dr. Iqbal and other Muslim stalwarts and luminaries of 19th century, who translated the dream of Islamic renaissance into reality. Farooq Rehmani denounced Indian military invasion over Jammu and Kashmir He urged the UN to intervene in the matter.
