Sindh Minister for Energy, Planning, and Development Syed Nasir Hussain Shah today inaugurated the Pakistan Interior Furniture Expo at Expo Center Karachi, announcing that high-quality and branded furniture items are available at discounted prices, giving the public a valuable opportunity to benefit from the exhibition.

The four-day event, running from April 17 to 20, showcases more than 100 leading furniture brands from across the country. The minister appreciated the efforts of Adnan Afzal and Madiha Adnan for organizing what he described as the largest furniture exhibition in Pakistan’s history.

During the ceremony, Nasir Hussain Shah reiterated support for the Pakistan Army and endorsed the recent stance of the Army Chief. He noted that two provinces are enduring terrorism linked to hostile neighboring states, and commended the armed forces for resisting such threats, referencing the Jaffer Express incident as an example.

He urged all political parties to prioritize Pakistan’s unity, warning against attempts to weaken state institutions by citing the experiences of Iraq, Libya, and Syria.

Touching upon the ongoing canal dispute, the minister underlined that the matter represents a red line for the Pakistan People’s Party. He warned that if the issue escalates, the party may consider stepping away from the government. However, he voiced confidence that a resolution will be achieved.
