Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori, commemorating the historic bravery of the Pakistan Navy on the occasion of “Hangor Day” on December 9, has emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to global peace and said that the Pakistan Navy is the guardian of the maritime border and an impenetrable wall.
In a special statement on Tuesday, the governor congratulated the nation on this memorable day.
He recalled the events of December 9, 1971, saying that the crew of the Hangor submarine wrote a new history with extraordinary courage, bravery, and valor.
Tessori termed the Pakistan Navy the protector of the country’s naval frontiers and an “impregnable wall”.
The governor further said that the celebration of this day also sends the message to the world that Pakistan is a peace-loving country.
