Pakistan Sends Another 100-Ton Aid Shipment to Palestine, Total Reaches Over 2,600 Tons

Pakistan’s National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has dispatched a further 100 tons of essential supplies to Palestine, bringing the total volume of humanitarian assistance sent by the country to 2,627 tons.

According to NDMA information today, the latest relief package, the 27th such consignment, was sent following a directive from Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif to address the urgent needs of the affected Palestinian population.

Organized with the support of the Alkhidmat Foundation, the shipment departed from Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore via a special flight. The cargo included critical relief items such as blankets, tarpaulins, clothing, and hygiene and family kits.

A send-off ceremony was held at the airport, attended by Punjab Finance Minister Mian Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman and Punjab Housing Minister Mian Bilal Yasin as chief guests.

Also present were senior officials from the NDMA and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), alongside representatives from various government departments and the Alkhidmat Foundation.

An official statement affirmed that the government and people of Pakistan stand with the people of Palestine and will continue efforts to support their humanitarian requirements.
