Islamabad, August 08, 2021 (PPI-OT):Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that peaceful and stable Afghanistan is imperative for the establishment of peace in the region. Addressing a workshop held in Multan today (Sunday), he said that Pakistan supports the political settlement of Afghan conflict through comprehensive dialogue among Afghan factions.
He added that Pakistan has been telling the entire world that solution of Afghan conflict lies in the political settlement. He said that some spoilers are the enemy of the peace of the region and we have to be ware of those elements which are trying to sabotage the Afghan Peace Process.
Foreign Minister said that terrorism has become a threat for the region and Pakistan has been affected by the Indian state sponsored terrorism. He said that Pakistan does not allow any neighboring state to blame it for fanning terrorism. He said that Pakistan condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
He said that our nation, Pak Army and civilian armed forces have rendered numerous sacrifices while combatting the menace of terrorism. Shah Mehmood said that Pakistan has taken effective steps to stop money laundering and economic support to terrorist outfits.
