Pakistan to Showcase Textile Innovations at Techtextil Frankfurt 2026

Karachi: The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) announced its plans to represent the country at Techtextil Frankfurt 2026, a prominent international trade fair for technical textiles and nonwovens held biennially in Frankfurt, Germany. The event offers a platform for companies to display innovative and sustainable textile solutions while engaging with global buyers and industry experts.

According to Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, the fair's previous edition in 2024 attracted 1,469 exhibitors and over 35,181 trade visitors, with significant participation from countries including Germany, Italy, France, and Turkey. The product groups featured at the event encompass textiles, apparels, high-performance textiles, and sustainability-based textiles.

TDAP is facilitating Pakistani exporters to participate in the 2026 edition, enabling them to expand their international business reach and promote the country's textile sector on a global scale. Participating companies in 2024 from Pakistan included Nizam Din and Sons, Lucky Textile, Master Textile, Midas Safety, Sapphire Finishing, Nishat, and US Apparel and Textiles.

To support the export of textiles and technical textile products, TDAP is offering subsidized participation for Pakistani companies. Each 12-square-meter stand will be available at PKR 1,645,000 after subsidy, compared to the direct cost of approximately PKR 2,185,000.
