Pakistani Textile Firms Offered Subsidised Rates for Premier International Exposition

The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) today announced a subsidised participation scheme for local companies at the upcoming Techtextil Frankfurt 2026, with a firm application deadline of 12th February 2026.

According to TDAP information, under the initiative, a 12-square-metre stand is available for a reduced price of PKR 1,645,000, presenting a significant discount from the approximate direct cost of PKR 2,185,000.

The programme is designed to promote the export of textiles and technical textile products by facilitating the participation of Pakistani companies in the major international event. TDAP’s facilitation offers an opportunity for exporters to expand their international business and promote Pakistan’s textile sector globally.

Techtextil is a leading biennial trade fair for technical textiles and nonwovens held in Frankfurt, Germany. The exposition provides a platform for companies to showcase innovative, high-performance, and sustainable textiles while connecting with industry experts and global buyers.

The 2024 edition of the event attracted 1,469 exhibitors and over 35,181 trade visitors. The top visiting countries included Germany, Italy, France, Turkey, the Netherlands, and Great Britain.

Product groups featured at the fair encompass Textiles, Apparels, High-performance textiles, Nature-based textiles, and Sustainability-based textiles.

Several prominent Pakistani companies attended the 2024 event, including Nizam Din and Sons, Lucky Textile, Master Textile, Midas Safety, Sapphire Finishing, Nishat, and US Apparel and Textiles.
