Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday congratulated candidates from the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) for their success in recent by-elections for National and Punjab Assembly seats, framing the wins as a direct reflection of the public’s trust in his government’s performance.

In a formal statement, the prime minister attributed the electoral triumphs to the political vision of PML-N Quaid Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and the dedicated efforts of party workers.

He further asserted that the results demonstrate public confidence in the PML-N”s commitment to serving the common person, alongside the diligent work of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and the overall performance of the government.

Prime Minister Sharif expressed his expectation that the newly elected representatives would dedicate themselves completely to serving the people in their respective constituencies.

According to unofficial results, the successful PML-N candidates for the National Assembly include Sardar Mehmood Qadir Khan Laghari from NA-185 D.G. Khan and Hafiz Muhammad Nouman from NA-129 Lahore.

Winners for the Punjab Assembly seats were identified as Ali Hyder Noor Niazi from PP-87 Mianwali, Muhammad Tahir Pervez from PP-115 Faisalabad, Ahmed Shehryar from PP-116 Faisalabad, and Chaudhry Hanif Jatt from PP-203 Sahiwal. The results also noted a victory for Muhammad Tufail Jatt in 143 Checha Watani.
