Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to promoting regional and global peace and stability, emphasizing its role as a peacemaker in the international community.
Addressing a ceremony at the Pakistan Naval Academy in Karachi today, Sharif praised the nation’s diplomatic initiatives, which have played a significant role, especially in reducing tensions between the US and Iran. He said this is an example of Pakistan’s constructive role in promoting regional stability.
The Prime Minister lauded Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Defence Forces, for his relentless efforts in uniting diverse parties under the banner of peace and harmony.
In his address to the newly commissioned officers of the 125th Midshipmen and 33rd Short Service Commission Course, Sharif extolled their commitment and urged them to embody the highest standards of professionalism, courage, and patriotism.
Sharif further expressed the government”s steadfast commitment to enhancing and fortifying the Pakistan Navy, ensuring robust maritime defence capabilities.
Moreover, he reaffirmed Pakistan”s unwavering diplomatic, political, and moral support for the people of Jammu and Kashmir and Palestine, highlighting the country”s enduring commitment to these causes.
