In a police encounter with alleged street criminals in Karachi’s Shah Latif Town area, one suspect was arrested in an injured condition while another was apprehended, whereas their third accomplice managed to escape from the Karachi Police.
The encounter took place near Matka Puliya on Monday when an exchange of fire occurred between the personnel and the suspects.
In the retaliatory action by the law enforcement agencies, one suspect was injured and the other was arrested on the spot.
According to reports, a third accomplice of the two suspects managed to escape arrest.
Authorities have reported recovering a pistol, bullets, and an unspecified amount of cash after the incident.
The injured suspect was later moved to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
