KARACHI:Police arrested three people and seized a sizeable quantity of gutka during a raid at a gutka factory in Hasrat Mohani Colony of Karachi on Friday.
The Keamari SSP said the arrested suspects have been identified as Bilal Ali, Hussain and Basit. He said more than 30 tonnes of gutka and other components including a large quantity of harmful materials were recovered from the factory.
The SSP further said gutka worth thousands of rupees was being prepared daily and the suspects used to supply it secretly. A case has been registered against the arrested criminals and further investigation is underway.
