Policeman martyred, 12 injured in DIK gas company convoy attack

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: In a targeted assault on a gas drilling company convoy in Darazinda area of Dera Ismail Khan, a policeman was martyred and 12 others injured, rescue officials said on Monday.

They said that a private gas drilling company convoy was attacked, resulting in the fatality of one policeman and injuries to 12 individuals. DI Khan Rescue 1122 medical teams promptly brought the injured to a local hospital, with two of them reported to be in critical condition.

This incident follows a similar attack last week on an Oil and Gas Company, where two policemen providing security lost their lives. In that tragic event, officers Rehmat Elahi and Muhammad Arif were martyred, while three others, namely Alamsher, Fazalur Rehman, and Atta ur Rehman, sustained injuries.
