QUETTA:Mohsin Hassan Butt, Inspector General of Police, Balochistan, has said in order to ensure holding peaceful local bodies election in 32 districts of the province, emergency room had been set up in the office of Inspector General of Police, Balochistan.
In a statement issued here on Sunday, he said that control room, which would remain functional round the clock from May, 29 to May 30, 2022, would remain in close liaison with all the stakeholders to seek reports regarding all activities relating to local bodies election and subsequently furnish the said reports to Inspector General of Police to thwart any untoward incident.
Expressing satisfaction over the measures adopted by the police in the wake of hand grenade attack in Turbat area of Balochistan province, he directed the concerned authorities of Police to take better measures in order to thwart such incidents from occurring.
