PESHAWAR:The Pakistan Bureau of Statistics has begun population and housing census in snowbound areas of Upper and Lower Kohistan and Kolai-Palas districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to a report on Sunday.
According to details, the exercise would continue till the 25th of this month. The Pakistan Bureau of Statistics decided that last year`s entire census process will not be cancelled and it would be carried out afresh in snowbound and areas with irregularities only.
The teams are dispatched to entire 377 blocs, where Census would be completed. The officials urged people to cooperate with teams.
