Employees of the Pakistan Postal Life Insurance Company (PPLIC) have issued a warning of an indefinite strike set to commence on April 14 if their demands remain unaddressed.

According to PPLI spokespers, members of Pakistan Postal Life Insurance Employees Union (CBA) organized a protest at the General Post Office building on I.I. Chundrigar Road in Karachi, on Friday highlighting their grievances.

The protest was spearheaded by Syed Danish Hussain, the union’s General Secretary, alongside key figures Zulfikar Ali, Kamran Khan, and Farukh Ahmed. They voiced demands for the prompt payment of house requisition and medical reimbursement allowances, as well as the resolution of long-standing issues.

In addition to these demands, the union members directed criticism at Company Secretary Sandeep Kumar, chanting slogans to express their dissatisfaction. The employees emphasized that if their issues, which have persisted for an extended period, are not resolved, they will proceed with their planned strike on April 14.
