President Asif Ali Zardari on Friday voiced profound grief over the death of Princess Hind bint Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, extending sympathies on behalf of Pakistan.
In a formal condolence message, the President communicated his heartfelt sympathies directly to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The message was also addressed to the entire Saudi Royal Family and the populace of Saudi Arabia on their significant loss.
He stated that the demise of Princess Hind represents a moment of sorrow for the Kingdom and for all who hold the Saudi Royal Family in high esteem.
The President offered prayers for the eternal peace of the departed soul and for the bereaved family to find the fortitude and patience necessary to bear the loss with strength.
President Zardari reiterated that the people of Pakistan share in the sorrow of the Saudi leadership and nation, reflecting the deep-rooted bonds of brotherhood and mutual respect that characterise the relationship between the two countries.
