PTI Leader Vows Faster Development in Saddar Town

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Karachi Division Senior Vice President and Chairman of TMC Saddar Town, Mansoor Ahmed Sheikh, said on Wednesday that the party’s local government would accelerate development projects and continue prioritising the delivery of essential civic services to residents.

He said work on a range of development schemes would gather pace following the approval of the budget, adding that the projects would focus on improving roads, streets, drainage, sanitation, street lighting, parks and other municipal infrastructure. He said the objective was to transform Saddar Town into a modern municipality providing efficient public services.

According to Sheikh, addressing residents’ concerns and ensuring the provision of basic civic amenities at their doorstep remained the PTI-led local administration’s primary responsibility and top priority.

He said the politically conscious voters of Saddar Town had endorsed PTI founder Imran Khan’s vision and the party’s public-focused policies by electing its representatives. He added that the people continued to support PTI and its efforts to improve local governance and public welfare.

Sheikh said PTI’s elected local government representatives were working continuously to resolve civic issues and advance the town’s development, pledging that the pace of ongoing projects would be further increased.

Commenting on the political situation, Sheikh said those who had, in his view, disregarded the public mandate for personal interests had already been rejected by voters. He added that politicians who had abandoned the electorate’s mandate had lost public confidence.

Reaffirming his commitment, Sheikh said the PTI-led administration would continue pursuing transparent governance, sustainable development and improved public welfare, adding that all available resources would be utilised for the benefit and prosperity of Saddar Town’s residents.
