Punjab CM visits Raiwind Tablighi Markaz

LAHORE:Punjab Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi on Thursday visited the Raiwind International Tablighi Markaz, where he met Ameer of International Tablighi Jamaat Maulana Ahmed Laat, Maulana Farooq and other clerics, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

 

Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi was informed about the activities for spreading the teachings of Islam. On the occasion, CM Naqvi said that Tablighi Jamaat is rendering invaluable services for propagation of Islam and that those who do so benefit both the religion and the world.

 

Furthermore, Maulana Ahmed Laat and Maulana Farooq prayed for the stability, peace, and unity of the Muslim world as well as the advancement of Islam as a faith. A proposal to build a mosque with a capacity of one million worshippers as per the design of Masjid-e-Nabwi at the International Tablighi Markaz was also suggested.

 

The CM also assured full cooperation in the mosque construction project. Dr Nadeem Ashraf, Imtiaz Ghani, Anwar Ghani, Mian Ahsan Provincial Auqaf Minister Azfar Ali Nasir, Gohar Ijaz, Commissioner Lahore Division and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
