The repatriation of Afghan nationals from Pakistan has reached significant numbers, with a total of 954,566 individuals returning to Afghanistan following the expiration of the Government’s deadline for illegal residents to leave the country.

Just yesterday, 5,696 undocumented Afghan nationals were repatriated, marking a steady progression of the process. The Government of Pakistan has reinforced its commitment to ensuring a dignified and orderly repatriation, extending this promise to both Afghan citizen cardholders and other foreign nationals without valid documentation.

Authorities have stressed that no individual will face mistreatment during the repatriation. Additionally, the Government has facilitated the provision of quality food and healthcare services to those being repatriated, ensuring their well-being throughout the transition.
