LARKANA: A large number of male and female primary students of Government Primary School, Kausar Mill Muhalla, held a protest demonstration holding textbooks in their hands outside their classrooms here on Tuesday against the dilapidated condition of their school building and demanded its immediate reconstruction to save their studies.
The cement bars of classrooms fell down seven months ago in November 2022 and since then they are studying under threat to their precious lives. Parents of the school children including Khair Muhammad, Naseer Magsi, Muhib Mugheri, Rashid Areejo and others said that several students have preferred not to come to study due to dangerous condition of the school building which has neither been so far repaired by the Education Works department nor renovated which has endangered their kids' precious lives.
They said that unrest among the parents is visible when they allow their kids to go to school every day in the morning and till they return home safely they are extremely worried about their safety. They said that the school administration has also informed the higher education department bosses but nothing has so far been carried out resulting in the loss of education of so many students which is indeed extremely worrisome.
They demanded reconstruction of the school building immediately to get rid of the panic and fear prevailing among the little kids so that their children could be able to read and write in future as well along with other children.
