Prominent artist, poet, writer, and political figure Mumtaz Ali Radd passed away on Wednesday due to a heart attack.
The funeral prayer of the deceased was offered in his native village of Mithri in Kot Diji taluka.
A large number of public and social figures, journalists, relatives, and friends from across the district participated in the funeral prayer.
Later, the deceased Rind was laid to rest in the cemetery of his native village.
The late Mumtaz Ali Rind also had a deep connection with journalism and was a reporter for several Sindhi newspapers. He was also active in the political field and was associated with various political parties, including the Nawaz League.
