Ride-Hailing Platform Waives All Driver Commissions in Karachi for Two Months

Drivers for the global mobility platform inDrive will retain their full earnings for a two-month period after the company announced it is waiving all commissions in the city from November 1 through December 31, 2025.

According to a statement tody, the organization stated the initiative is part of its people-first strategy and reinforces its commitment to fairness, empowerment, and community well-being.

This temporary policy allows drivers using the service to keep 100% of the fares they earn.

‘Karachi’s drivers are the backbone of our platform, and their resilience inspires us every day,’ said Awais Saeed, Country Manager of inDrive Pakistan.

‘Our goal has always been simple: to make sure those who keep Karachi moving feel valued and supported. This step is our way of giving back to the community that drives us every day,’ Saeed added.

The company noted that the move is consistent with its unique peer-to-peer pricing model, which aims to place human choice and economic empowerment at the center of its urban services.
